Some of you might have noticed the link in the menu to the Calendar… If not, go check it out and come back regularly to see updated events & meetings which you won’t want to miss! This feature is now the central online diary for all NHSDA happenings – so if you have something coming up that needs to be added to the Calendar, email the Church Office with your request.
Site Reconstruction Progress
NHSDA’s website is being transformed into a blog format to make your experience more functional and interesting! The site is now ready for use, but work will continue on the design and content over the next little while to complete it.

Church Social: Talent Quest & Cake Auction Fundraiser
Over 100 people came and supported this amazing night, with talent items performed by all age groups across the church (including some visitors), and a yummy selection of homemade cakes which were auctioned off throughout the evening. All proceeds from the cake auction have been put aside to help pay for a large van for the church’s Youth and Pathfinders – a grand total of over $1100 was raised, with one gorgeous professionally designed cake alone bringing in $350 from two buyers! What a wonderful effort from all involved including our amazing Social Committee… don’t miss the next social event in two months’ time!

Photowalk #9: Eden Garden
A well-kept secret in the middle of the city is Eden Garden, which was created out of the old scoria quarry in the 1960s and is now an amazing place to visit. The Photowalkers got a wide variety of photos and enjoyed the outing. Samples below:
