ADRA FOOD BANK: COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE

ADRA is a ministry that assists people in crisis. ADRA works to overcome needs due to poverty, circumstance or tragedy. We are able to assist with household and personal items, food, bed linen and clothing. If you, or someone you know needs assistance, please contact us at the church office.

If you would like to assist our ADRA Food Bank ministry, please bring all your unwanted useful items in good condition to the church or buy non-perishable food items in your next grocery shop and bring them along for our cupboard.

Examples of items we can use: canned or dried food, kitchen utensils, housewares, sheets/towels, children's toys, furniture items, garden equipment, electronic goods & appliances (in working order please), clothing & shoes (clean and in wearable condition), blankets (especially in colder months), heaters... etc. Donations of money, petrol vouchers etc are also gratefully accepted. All donations over $5 are tax-deductible; a receipt will be provided if requested.

THE ADRA CHARITY RUN

Start Training for the ADRA Charity Run now! Started in 2000, the event has raised almost $200,000 for charity. Choose between three distances - 21.1km, 10km or 5km and ask some friends to sponsor your efforts! Let's make this year the biggest yet for people in desperate need.

Here at North Harbour there are many varied current service opportunities, and we're open to considering any ministry that you may feel God is calling you to lead or participate in. Below is a list of current ministry opportunities:
