PRAYER: CONNECT WITH GOD

God has made Himself accessible at all times for His people to pray. He longs to be known by us and by His Spirit He works to bring people into a real and personal relationship with Himself.

At the heart of our relationship with Him is prayer. Through prayer comes everything for the believer.

On the final Tuesday evening of every month, we meet with God in prayer. Everyone is welcome. Following praise and worship there is time for sharing and praying for others. We praise God for the many miracles of healing and provision that have been given in answer to prayer.

If you would like prayer there are several opportunities. You can come to the monthly prayer meeting, come to the front after any worship service and meet with a prayer counselor, or contact the pastor directly.

Sample Format:

  • 7:30pm - Praise and Worship time
  • 8:00pm - Seeking God in Prayer together
  • 8:15pm - Teaching Time
  • 8:35pm - Intercession
  • 9:00pm - Ministry Time (if needed)

If you need prayer or would like us to pray for you, either join us at the monthly meeting, join a home group, night or fill out the Prayer Request form on this website. Our committment is that we will pray for all requests for a minimum of four weeks. Your private information will never be shared outside the prayer session.

FELLOWSHIP: CONNECT WITH EACHOTHER

Getting to know others in the church family can take some time and can be a little daunting - but only at first. Here at NHSDA we ensure that there are regular fellowship events so that there are always opportunities to meet others in the church and make new friends.

The church is grouped into pastoral groups by region, and within each pastoral group, members are encouraged to get to know and support each other. Regular lunches are part of this ministry and are a great way to meet new people while sampling some great food as well!

If you are considering coming along to worship with us, please make contact so that we can make sure that you are made welcome and looked after while you are here. In John 17, Jesus said that by the unity among believers, all men would know that we are truly his disciples.
